The PE curriculum is designed to provide the children with the Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) for long life participation in physical activity. They will develop the 'ABCs' of Agility, Balance and Coordination to give them the building blocks to enable play and involvement in many different sports and activities as they develop. We carry out multi-skill units of work following the 'Real PE' curriculum, gymnastics units of work following the 'Real Gym' curriculum and also dance units of work.
During the school year, children will have some of their PE sessions at Failand. This is used as an opportunity to develop their skills in a wider range of physical activities. We use buses to take the children for these activities at Failand.
