Morris Dancers visit CPS

Cathedral Primary School had a fantastic treat today when Morris Dancers came to visit the school as part of May Day celebrations. With great energy and fun the hall was filled with music as they performed several traditional dances for the children. These dances were well over 100 years old! Some of the dances included sticks and some with handkerchiefs, not to mentions all the bells that were strapped around their legs - It certainly was enjoyed by children and staff alike!
