At Cathedral Primary School we value the impact that Art can have on children’s progress and its role in a broad and balanced curriculum. Our Art curriculum provides children with opportunities for creative and innovative thinking, whilst allowing them to develop a critical and reflective approach. The children will study the techniques of a range of artists including global and local artists to celebrate the creative community.

Children will produce creative work, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences and become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques.  They will  evaluate and analyse creative works using the language of art, craft and design.
